LG rolls out Android 9 Pie upgrades to a few of its flagship devices with just a couple weeks left until this year comes to a finish.
No, the year end is not a huge deal, but the simple fact that Android 10 is currently available on a couple of android where LG just started rolling out Android 10 to its devices.
At a Research printed in August revealing the Android variation share for high 10 OEMs, LG rated 8th only before Alcatel and Tecno using 16 percent of its own smartphones running Android Pie in the moment.
Currently a few more LG devices are getting the exact same Android Pie upgrade like LG Aristo 3 and Aristo 3 Plus.
First seen by LG-centric book MyLGPhones, the Aristo 3 is getting the Pie upgrade as applications variant X220MA20A while the Plus version is receiving exactly the same upgrade as variant X220MB20A.
Aside from the new Pie attributes, the upgrades also boost the security patch level of Aristo 3 and its own also counterpart to October 2019. Not the newest version available, but nevertheless a welcome addition given the criteria of the 2 devices.
In the Preferences menu, go into the “General” tab then tap Update Center > System upgrade > Check for upgrade and follow the onscreen instructions to install and download the most recent software upgrade on your own Aristo 3 phone. If the OTA is not accessible, you can find the Pie upgrade through the LG Bridge App.
